Davey Coach Expands Sedalia, CO Campus
SEDALIA, COLO. June 14, 2023—Davey Coach Sales, LLC, a leading dealer
of new and used mid-sized shuttle bus and specialty transportation vehicles for
over 30 years, announced today the signing of a new lease at 7396 Reynolds
Drive, one door north of their existing properties, to allow for expansion of
their vehicle parts, service, fabrication, and graphics divisions. This
development will provide a sizeable increase to the dealership’s overall
capacities, adding 9,000 square feet of building space and 2.5 additional acres
to the Davey Coach headquarters, which currently sits on a 5-acre parcel
approximately 3.5 miles northwest of the town of Sedalia in Douglas County.

latest expansion is something that has truly been years in the making,” said
Davey Coach President Josh Davey. “It addresses multiple needs for our company
as well as a need for more space to serve our customers. This expansion has
been driven by the success and growth we continue to experience as the direct
result of the efforts of the incredible people on our team up and down the organization.
We’ve been actively looking to expand again and are beyond fortunate to be able
to utilize a location on the same street as our current Colorado campus.”
Plans
for the property formerly occupied by Doka US include new facilities for
Davey’s service department, allowing for more space for parts fabrication and
bus and van conversions. A redistribution of existing spaces to allow for more
graphics installation bays is also projected. The increased space will also
provide Davey Coach with the opportunity to hire more staff.
The
five-year lease with an additional 5-year option to extend begins June 15th.
While some disruptions are to be expected, Davey Coach does not anticipate any
major interruptions to normal operations.
