Josh Davey Promoted to President of Davey Coach Sales, LLC

SEDALIA, COLO. Jan. 11, 2023—Following the announcement of President Mark Stenseth’s retirement, Josh Davey has been named President of Davey Coach Sales, LLC, a leading dealer of new and used mid-sized shuttle bus and specialty transportation vehicles with locations in Denver, Indiana and California.

Stenseth served as president for four years, leading Davey Coach through some of the most trying challenges in its 30-year history. “We’ve enjoyed solid growth despite the pandemic, and I could not be prouder of the team members who stuck with us through those difficult months,” he said. “As tumultuous as these years have been, it has been very fulfilling and rewarding to be part of this company, and I truthfully consider my time as president of Davey Coach as the capstone of my career.”

Josh Davey’s career at Davey Coach spans almost 20 years to date, most recently serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He brings a proven record of sales acumen, management success and industry expertise to his new position. “This transition came with a sense of inevitability,” Davey commented. “In a way, I was the last person to come around to it.”

Josh Davey is the nephew of founder and former CEO Tom Davey. He began working for his uncle in July of 2003, and in the years since has helped shape the firm’s customer-centric ethos. Said Davey, “My oldest son has expressed an interest in selling buses as a cover job for the spy he wants to be. Seeing as he is about to be ten years old, it looks like I’ll be carrying water for him for a few more years at least.”
